Rev. Dr. Douglas G. Pratt Senior Pastor/Head of Staff
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Pratt has been an ordained Presbyterian minister since 1979, with degrees from Allegheny College (B.A. in English), Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity) and Fuller Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry). Called to this congregation in 2004, Rev. Pratt had previously served as Executive Pastor at Eastminster Presbyterian in Wichita, Kansas (1979-1990) and as Senior Pastor of Memorial Park Presbyterian in suburban Pittsburgh (1990-2004). His primary areas of ministry are in preaching, teaching and providing leadership to the church staff, elders and various committees. Doug and his wife Jeanne, a speech/language clinician in Naples, have been married since 1975. They enjoy reading and golf.

Rev. Dr. Paul M. Fahnestock Associate Pastor
Dr. Fahnestock earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Friends University, his Master of Divinity degree at Reformed Theological Seminary, and his Doctor of Ministry from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (May 2008). He was ordained to the ministry in 1995 following a successful career as a heating and air conditioning contractor. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, he and his wife Linda were commissioned as foreign missionaries by the PCUSA in 1996, serving in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and in northeast Brazil. Called to First Presbyterian of Bonita in January 2005, Rev. Fahnestock offers experienced leadership to our mission and outreach ministry, coordinates pastoral care and visitation, and fulfills general pastoral duties, including preaching and teaching. Linda is currently working towards her teaching certificate through nearby Florida Gulf Coast University, and serves as a deacon at First Church. They have two grown children living in Texas, and two grandchildren.

Rev. Steven M. Grant Associate Pastor
If he’s not teaching an Adult Education class, assisting in worship or providing pastoral care, Rev. Steven Grant might be found playing his violin! With a degree in violin performance from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, Steven Grant went on to earn a Master of Divinity at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago; he was ordained in 1986 and has served as an associate or solo pastor in churches in St. Louis, Omaha, Lake George (NY) and Fort Myers. Pastor Steven serves First Church as a popular teacher and sensitive counselor, while balancing his commitment as violinist/violist in the Fort Myers-based Southwest Florida Symphony. Rev. Grant and his wife Nanette, an orchestra teacher in the Collier County public schools, have one son, Evan (a college student).
