CAPITAL CAMPAIGN UPDATE
Pastor Doug Pratt has reported that the church's mortgage has been restructured and a substantial amount of our debt has been paid off, thanks to contributions received so far to the Capital Campaign. A principal payment of $800,000 was made in late September (2007), reducing our outstanding loan to $1.6 million. We expect that another substantial payment will be made by December 31, as the congregation makes year-end contributions. If you have pledged to the Capital Campaign over three years and find it possible to pay off your entire pledge early, that would help us tremendously.
WHAT DID YOU DO THIS SUMMER?
FPC members John & Joan Lewis participated in "Music Sunday" at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Ohio on Sunday, July 29. The Lewis Family Ensemble consisted of John D. Lewis on drums, Kim on flute, Sherman on trumpet, Ben on clarinet, Madeline (age 4) on shaker and tambourine, John F. on trumpet/flugel horn and Joan on piano.
