Asia | China & South Korea

Crossing Borders was established in 2003 by several Christians of Korean and Chinese descent who felt a burden for the North Korean refugees in China. North Korean women are often trafficked and sold to Chinese men who are impoverished farmers or day laborers and have no means to support the family in the long run. The children are often orphaned when their North Korean mothers are forced to escape out of China without them or are arrested and sent back to North Korea. Crossing Borders has established three central locations in Northeast China where these children can have their essential needs met and be shown the love of God.
