MILES FOR MISSIONS is an initiative to cover 25,000 miles (the circumference of the earth) in prayer and fundraising by May 28 to support global missions. Join our team at newinternational.org/give/team/team-first-missions-bonita-springs to estimate your personal miles (whether walking, running, biking, swimming, or flying) and to donate.

WALK WITH US!
If you are available on May 28, we invite you on a nature hike at CREW Flint Pen Strand Trails. We will meet in their main parking lot at 15970 Bonita Beach Road, east of Bonita Springs, at 8:30AM. Together we will walk the 1.5-mile Red Trail, an easy and beautiful trail through Old Florida habitat. Pastor Emeritus Paul and Linda Fahnestock, and Director of Missions Trusha Barner will organize and lead the hike.

In addition to the hike, or if you are not able to join us that day, wherever you are from now through May 28, you may accumulate miles walking, riding a bike, or by any other means. Estimate your miles and record your commitment when you join the First Missions team online. Couples and families are encouraged to sign up individually. All funds raised by the First Missions team will support the Brazilian Sign Language Bible Translation project — the project of Pastor Paul and Linda Fahnestock, affiliates of New International.

Each person who donates $60 or more will receive a Miles for Missions t-shirt, an event packet, a prayer guide, and additional goodies from New International. Our First Missions team goal is to raise $5,000 for the Bible translation project.

Why? More than 3 billion people in the world have never heard the name of Jesus. By supporting missions, you become part of proclaiming Christ and making disciples globally. When you donate, fundraise, or move for missions, you help unreached people groups all over the world have access to the message of salvation through Jesus.
