Tommy Hillegass Media Manager | Tommy oversees all activities related to sound, lighting, video and presentation technology. On Sunday mornings, he controls the 48-channel soundboard and the 24-channel lightboard for CenterPoint. After volunteering in Media while attending our youth group, Tommy began as part-time media support. In 2012 he became a full-time media specialist, and then media manager in 2017.
Brian Rapacz Media Specialist | Brian supports all aspects of media and equipment operation as it relates to worship and ministry programming. He joined the Media Ministry in September 2016 and has played a key role in supporting the increased need for media across all ministries at First Church.
Sophie Sierts PowerPoint Operator | Sophie operates the PowerPoint and Easy Worship slideshows that appear on the screens in the Sanctuary and CenterPoint. She joined the Media Ministry in March 2018 and has been a vital part of our weekend worship services.
Nick Zimmermann Media Assistant | Nick supports all aspects of audio, video and lighting for Sunday mornings and special events. He first joined the Media Ministry as a volunteer camera operator in early 2013. Nick was hired as media assistant in April 2018 and works proficiently to make all services and events run smoothly. He created the intro and outro for our edited worship videos that are posted online.
Chad Zuchegno Audio Specialist | Chad has been the sound technician for the sanctuary since 2005, operating the soundboard in the control booth of the mezzanine. He completes the chancel setup for Sunday mornings and special events with mics and staging.
Gil Urick Video Director | Gil coordinates the real-time video aspects of our weekend services and directs the camera operators. He also edits the worship DVD and uploads the edited video and audio files to the church website. Gil has served in this capacity since the establishment of CenterPoint as an alternate worship venue in September 2012.
Donabeth Urick PowerPoint Design, Camera Operator | Donabeth is Pastor Doug Pratt’s executive assistant and in that role has worked with Doug to design his worship PowerPoint presentations since late 2004. She also volunteers as a camera operator on Sunday mornings.
Lauren Hargis PowerPoint Design | Lauren began her training in worship PowerPoint design last August and now creates sermon slides for our associate and assistant pastors. On the church staff since 2012, she joined the Communications Team as digital designer in January of this year.
Camera Operators | Each volunteer works from one of the three camera bays located in the sanctuary, receiving instructions from the video director via headset throughout the worship service. The goal is to provide a seamless, high quality worship experience for those in CenterPoint or watching the podcast or DVD.
