Women’s Studies

Grace for Moms
Thursdays beginning October 15 | 9AM | Choir Room
This class for mothers raising children offers study and fellowship. Our new topic is the video-based Bible series Matchless: The Life and Love of Jesus by Angie Smith (author of Seamless). This 8-session search for truth about Jesus reveals the story of our matchless Savior—His mission, miracles, and message. He not only came to die for us, He came to live with us. Understand Jesus through biblical, historical, and cultural insight; come to know Him as an intimate friend.
Childcare is available; contact families@fpcbonita.org for more information.

Wednesday in the Word
Wednesdays | 9:30-11AM | Sanctuary
The pain of the world is great, and I am small. Problems are large and I am only one person. And yet, the Lord loves to use each small life in simple but deep ways. All women are invited to Pastor June Barrow’s weekly Bible study, One Small Life. This season we are considering those God has used throughout history, and in our own lives, while remembering that God also works through each and every one of us.

Working Women’s Fellowship
Tuesdays | 7PM | Lightner Conference Room
From the very beginning of the church, leadership was necessary and leadership roles had to be established. Paul’s Letters to Pastors (1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, and Philemon) were written to the individuals entrusted to lead three different churches. This DVD-study acquaints us with the character traits of a leader, various forms of leadership, descriptions of ministry for various groups within the church, and warnings against false teachers and practices. The workbook for this class is available for purchase in the BookCenter.

Moore on Thursday
Thursdays beginning October 22 | 10:30AM-1PM | Price Chapel
The Master Storyteller is a short study that explores some of the parables of Jesus. Beth Moore’s teaching explores how we who come into relationship with Him are swept into His glorious, eternal story as He is made the center of ours.

Manna on Monday
Mondays beginning October 26 | 2-3:30PM | Price Chapel
Some of us may have read Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver before but are most likely in a new sea-son of life now. In this DVD-study, come discuss and apply the concepts to the life we are living today. We each know what the Lord would have us do and hopefully this study will reawaken our thirst for God’s Word and enable us to make some beautiful decisions that will change our perspective.
