Our Discipleship Ministry hosts this unique program presented by the Messianic Jewish Organization, Chosen People Ministries. Guest speaker Boris Goldin will share with us the Old Testament prophetic revelations that point to Jesus Christ as the Messiah. His faith-building message explores God’s plan of salvation while helping Christians better understand their Jewish neighbors. No tickets are required.

While living in New York, Boris resisted his wife Shulamit’s witness as a believer in Jesus and argued vehemently with her. But as he began to read the Bible for himself, Boris sensed the reality of God. After a year and a half of searching, he became a Christian and helped start outreaches in Brooklyn. He felt called to serve in full-time ministry; Boris left a successful insurance business and is now a missionary with Chosen People Ministries. A gifted evangelist, preacher, and teacher, his passion is to see Jewish people throughout the world accept Jesus as their promised Messiah.

One of the challenges that the Jewish people have faced over the centuries is how to preserve their heritage while looking to the future. For the past 125 years, Chosen People Ministries has sought to look ahead while also acting as responsible stewards of Jewish traditions. This organization ministers to the Church by promoting a connectedness to the Jewish roots of Christianity that will enrich the understanding and proclamation of God’s Word. Their most fervent prayer is that Israel might be saved and fully realize its calling to be a “light unto the nations.”

The core doctrine of Chosen People Ministries has not changed. They believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that Jesus is the promised Messiah of Israel – and that the simple message of His death and resurrection has the power to transform the lives of both Jews and Gentiles.
