Gerry “Rocky” Seader

Born in Philadelphia, Rocky started playing drums at an early age in his grandfather’s big band music group. Rocky says, “Everything that I know in music today I owe to my grandfather. He was the best!” Rocky went on to play with bands in the Philadelphia-South Jersey club circuit, and eventually with Danny & the Juniors. His impressive drumming skills earned him a spot in their group, and he spent ten years on the road, later becoming their musical director. Rocky also played for touring artists from the rock and roll era. In the early ’80s, Rocky decided to start his own group—and Rocky & the Rollers began.

Rocky is the drummer and musical director for friend Jon “Bowzer” Bauman’s Rock & Roll Party, which tours internationally throughout the year. Because of his powerful and highly energetic drumming style, Rocky has become one of the most sought-after drummers in the business today.
