Join us to hear Anabel share more about the impact of one shoebox and how God‘s faithfulness carried her through some of the deepest pain. Anabel Rosario Fermin, a recipient of an Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoebox in the Dominican Republic, grew up in a Christ-centered, pastor‘s family. She never had material abundance, but was always taught about God‘s faithfulness. At around eight years old, she received an OCC shoebox filled with stuffed animals, school supplies, hard candy, and other gifts—each gift an assurance that God was faithful even when it didn‘t feel that way. Today, Anabel lives in Texas and works as a radio personality. Meet Anabel, hear her story, and pick up an OCC shoebox!

OCC shoeboxes will be available to take home after this event.*

Members and friends of First Church are invited to:
(1) Pick up a shoebox, with instruction sheet and label, at the OCC kiosk in McClure Hall or at the east and west church entrances.
(2) Return your gift-filled OCC shoebox no later than November 6 to the OCC kiosk or the church office.
(3) Bless the children and their families with your continued prayers.
