Inspired by true events in Poland during World War II, comes a story of courage, sacrifice and survival. Rosa and Itzhak Dunovich never imagined welcoming their first child in the Jewish ghetto. As daily atrocities intensify, Rosa must send her daughter into hiding to save her life. Her only hope of finding her after the war, if any of them survive, is a medallion she cuts in half and places around her neck.
