PEER Servants is a community comprised primarily of volunteers who long for more people experience the kingdom of heaven on earth. They partner with indigenous, autonomous microfinance institutions (MFI) in Africa, Eurasia, and the Americas. These MFIs empower the materially poor by helping them start or grow small businesses, educating children, engaging young people in kingdom ministry, and much more.

Through PEER Servants, First Church is investing in Potter’s House in Guatemala. For over 25 years, Potter’s House has been extending the kingdom of heaven to the people who inhabit or make a living from Guatemala City’s municipal dump. Through a microfinance program called Vida Nueva (New Life), micro-entrepreneurs can grow their business and provide for their families.
