At First Church, we are grateful for a God who loves His people to gather and praise Him no matter where or how the worship takes place!

Many of our supported missionaries live in areas with few or no Christians and therefore no church buildings in which to gather for fellowship. Creativity is vital—the missionaries above are worshipping in the North African desert!

Community, fellowship, and delicious food are often a gateway to sharing God’s love and gathering for community worship. The meal presented above was prepared to serve Afghan refugee women living in the U.S.

Africans thanking God for Bible Translation and Literacy that donated Luo Bibles, and for Gideon’s International that distributed over 2,500 Bibles to various Christian Leaders for Africa partner schools.

Those who are part of the persecuted church often take great risks to worship together and some have never had the opportunity to gather with other believers. Above, refugees from North Korea and China have the opportunity to pray together in a refugee center in South Korea.

College ministries provide on-campus places to worship for students who miss their church back home or have never had the opportunity to participate in corporate worship.

When living overseas missionaries often attend non-English-speaking churches. Others gather in the homes of fellow English speakers and their children within their host countries to worship in their heart language.

All the nations you have made
shall come and worship before you, Lord;
they will bring glory to your name.
Psalm 86:9

Ride Nature

Ride Nature Nicaragua is giving generously, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, and making disciples through action sports outreach, evangelism, and discipleship. You will find their team building relationships with the locals by engaging in skateboarding at a local park and surfing outreaches at nearby beaches. While the church where they meet for worship was once an old tikibar and restaurant, it is now where the gospel is shared, and God continues to do more than they could have imagined!
