In the Dust of the Rabbi

This DVD study with Ray Vander Laan assists Christians in experiencing the Bible in its historical context and helps us come to know Jesus in a truly up close and personal way. Filmed on location at the sites where Jesus called, taught and sent His disciples, it enhances our study of Scripture by using biblical texts, historical setting and archaeology. An ancient Jewish proverb communicates how closely we should desire to follow Him: “Follow a rabbi, drink in his words, and be covered in the dust of his feet.” Through this five-session study led by our pastoral staff, we hope to walk that closely with our Rabbi, Jesus. This class for mothers raising children offers study and fellowship. Our new topic is the book Seamless by Angie Smith. The full story of Scripture can be overwhelming; this study weaves together the people, places and promises from God’s Word in such a way as to gain a clarity and understanding of the Bible as one complete story. Each session features key information that ties all of Scripture together into the seamless truth of the Gospel message. Maps, timelines, Bible facts and word studies all help bring to life the stories of the Old and New Testaments. Come rediscover the Bible! Childcare is available.
